Subscriptions
Once your subscription has been paid, the payment amount is considered fully earned. The Taster Corporation will not refund or credit partially used months or years. If for any reason your payment does not go through, The Taster Corporation will try to reach you to update your payment information. If you can’t resolve the issue within five business days, The Taster Corporation reserves the right to cancel your subscription. It is your responsibility to keep your payment and contact information up to date.

Trials
Trial subscribers may cancel at any time before the trial period expires to avoid being charged our subscription price. The Taster Corporation reserves the right to limit the number of trial subscriptions for any user.

No Refunds
You are free to cancel your subscription at any time, but once your trial subscription has ended and your subscription is paid, we will not issue any refunds for cancellation. Should you choose to cancel, you will have access to thetaster.ca until the end of the period for which you paid.

Copyright
It costs a ton to review restaurants, food and drink when you pay your own bills, as we do at The Taster. If you feel compelled to share our reviews and writing, please do so by linking to the article on social media. Barring that, please feel free to occasionally email an article to one or two friends. But reprinting or reposting our work not only violates our copyright; it also undermines our ability to continue doing what we do. Should you wish to reprint any of our articles or photos, please email info@thetaster.ca

Privacy
We’ll never sell or give out your information to third parties. We’re not that kind of site! We will send you emails about your subscription, as well as a weekly update about our newest reviews. Should you wish to opt out of the weekly update, please hit “unsubscribe” at the bottom of the email, and while you’ll retain access to thetaster.ca you’ll be removed from the weekly update list.

Liability
We do our utmost to get our reviews, and facts, right, but in the event we botch something, or you have a different experience than we’ve described, a) we’re sorry, b) it happens sometimes and c) reviewing restaurants isn’t like reviewing visual art, or movies, which is to say that restaurants change all the time, and sometimes from night to night. So even though this should probably go without saying, we’re not responsible for your bad experience, or any other issues arising from your use of thetaster.ca.
